The scope of Kajaki Hydro Power Project is Installation of Three Vertical Francis Turbine Generator 33MW each, located in Helmand Province / Afghanistan. Voith Hydro GmbH  will supply the complete electromechanical equipment for Kajaki Hydro Power Project.

NPT has dispatched a Mechanical Engineer / Turbine Specialist to 77 Construction, Turkey for their Kajaki Hydro power project in Afghanistan.

Nam Theun 1 Hydropower Project has total capacity of 650 MW, including 3 units (2 x 260MW + 1 x 130MW), constructed on Nam Kading river, Bolikhamxay province, central of Lao PDR.  Andritz Hydro supply  complete Electro-Mechanical Equipment  for this project.

NPT's QA/QC inspector Mr. Tulus is deployed on Nam Theun 1 project since July 2018.  

The Regional Rusumo Hydroelectric Project will generate approximately 80MWs to be shared equally between Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania. Supply and Installation of Electro-Mechanical Equipment executed by Andritz Hydro for Rusumo Hydroelectric Project.

On Andritz Hydro Austria request, NPT has dispatched an Electrical Supervisor for installation of  Embedded Grounding system.

The Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Project is 1,285 MW  run-of-river power plant, which started commercial operation in 2019.  Andritz Hydro supplied the complete electromechanical equipment for Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Project. 

NPT has supplied more than 50 technical staff (Foreman, Pipe Fitters, Electricians, Welders) for installation of Turbine, Generator, BoP Electrical and Piping work.

M/S Fuji Electric has awarded contracts to NPT for assembly of stator and rotor for their Akiba Dai-2  and Akiba Dai-1 projects located in Shizouka Japan.
NPT has completed Akiba Dai-2 in 2016, while Akiba Dai-1 was commissioned in 2018.   

NPT has provided the Coordination & Technical services to Voith Fuji Hydro Japan for their Ingula Pumped Storages Scheme, South Africa. The power station uses 4 Francis pump turbines rated at 333 MW each, giving it a total rating of 1332 MW installed capacity.  

NPT has provided Project Coordinator, QA/QC Engineer, Electrical Supervisor, Mechanical Supervisor and Piping Supervisor at this project.

Mount Coffee Hydropower Plant is located approximately 27 kilometres northeast of Monrovia, Liberia. The Plant comprises of four Francis turbines, 22MW each and first unit was commissioned in 2016.

NPT has provided technical staff for Installation and Erection of Turbines and Generators.

Cheongpyeong HPP #1~3 with Dam type is operating on Cheongpyeong Dam and the total nominal generating capacity is 79.6MW. Cheongpyeong HPP unit 1 and unit 2 of the existing facilities are 19.8MW x 2 of vertical kaplan type hydraulic-turbine and unit 3 is 40MW of vertical propeller type hydraulic-turbine. 

M/S Voith Fuji has awarded contracts to NPT for assembly of stator and rotor for their CHPG-3  and CHPG-4 projects in South Korea. NPT has completed CHPG-4 in 2011, while CHPG-3 is commissioned in 2013.

The plant is located on the A Sap River in Thua Thien Hue province, 70km west of the city of Hue and 160km north-west of the city of Da Nang. The plant’s Capacity is 170MW having two Pelton Turbines from VOITH HYDRO GERMANY.

On Voith Hydro Germany request, NPT has dispatched a Mechanical Supervisor for installation and erection of Pelton Turbines.

The powerhouse of the pumped storage plant comprises four 260MW reversible Francis vertical turbines and four 235MW reversible Francis turbine pump-generators. 

NPT has been requested by Voith Fuji to provide a Generator Erection supervisor for their Siah Bishe Hydro Power project in Iran from January 16, 2013. Mr. Katirin of Nippa was dispatched to Iran. 

M/S CMC has requested to provide technical staff for their Theun Hinboun project in Laos.  NPT has provided Planning  & Cost Control Manager, Health & Safety Engineer, Quantity Surveyor and Cad Operator for this project.

This project was completed in March 2012.

The Beles Hydroelectric Power Project, is a run-of-the-river hydroelectric power plant in Ethiopia near Lake Tana. The Plant has an installed capacity of 115MW x 4 Francis Turbine (total 460 MW) and it is the second largest power plant in the country.

Our highly technical staff giving their services to M/S Andritz Hydro in all electromechanical and transmission sections.

Gilgel Gibe II is most powerful hydroelectric plant with an installed capacity of 420 MW. Voith Germany supplied four Pelton turbines and generators as well as the entire mechanical and electrical equipment.

NPT was appointed as Technical Services Provider, and we provided Technical Staff for this project for installation and erection of all equipment supplied by Voith Hydro, Germany.
